Enter the So Delicious Dairy Free Recipe Contest

Do you love So Delicious Dairy Free products as much as I do? Their dairy-free options make it easy to enjoy creamy, flavorful treats without using traditional milk products. I can never quite decide which one is my favorite: the unsweetened coconut milk, the French vanilla coffee creamer, or the mint chip coconut milk ice cream. Each one has its own place in my kitchen, and each one proves that dairy-free eating can still be rich, satisfying, and delicious.
I was especially excited to learn that Alison from Go Dairy Free was hosting a recipe contest sponsored by So Delicious on Pinterest. The grand prize included a $500 Williams-Sonoma gift card and free So Delicious products, which made the contest even more fun. Anyone could visit Go Dairy Free and submit a favorite dairy-free recipe, so I knew I wanted to enter a few of my own gluten-free and vegan desserts.
Along with my Gluten Free Vegan Mocha Layer Cake, I gathered several of my favorite recipes that are completely gluten free and dairy free. These desserts are sweet, beautiful, and made for anyone who wants allergy-friendly baking ideas without giving up flavor or texture. If you enjoy vegan desserts, dairy-free baking, or gluten-free treats that feel special enough to share, these recipes are worth a look.
To vote in the contest, readers were asked to visit the So Delicious Dairy Free 2013 Recipe Contest Board on Pinterest and like their favorite recipe. Repinning was welcome, but only likes counted toward the contest. Below are the recipes I entered, each one made with a love for simple, flavorful, gluten-free and dairy-free baking.

These gluten-free vegan mini berry cheesecakes are almost too cute to eat, but one bite makes them impossible to resist. They are a wonderful option for anyone looking for a dairy-free cheesecake recipe that still tastes indulgent.

Gluten Free Vegan Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

These gluten-free vegan chocolate sandwich cookies are a nostalgic treat with a soft chocolate cookie and a creamy vanilla filling. They have that familiar cookie-and-cream appeal that kids and adults both love, but they are made without gluten, dairy, or eggs. The soft cookie texture makes them even more enjoyable, especially when paired with a cold glass of dairy-free milk or served as a sweet after-dinner dessert.

Gluten Free Vegan Vanilla Cupcakes

This gluten-free vegan vanilla cupcake recipe is special to me for many reasons. It was my first vanilla cupcake recipe that turned out to be a true success, and it is completely free from gluten, dairy, and eggs. The cupcakes are simple to make, bake up beautifully, and have a classic vanilla flavor that works for birthdays, celebrations, or everyday baking. They are proof that allergy-friendly cupcakes can still be tender, pretty, and delicious.

Dairy Free Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding

This dairy-free vanilla chia seed pudding may be one of the easiest desserts ever. There is no baking and no cooking required. The tiny chia seeds do all the work as they thicken the mixture into a creamy pudding with a light vanilla flavor. It is simple, refreshing, and naturally satisfying. If you need a quick gluten-free and dairy-free dessert that feels wholesome and effortless, this chia seed pudding is a great choice.

This gluten-free vegan mocha layer cake speaks for itself. It features layers of moist chocolate cake, creamy mocha buttercream, and a rich chocolate ganache finish. For chocolate lovers, it is the kind of dessert that feels dramatic, decadent, and completely celebration-worthy. Best of all, it shows that gluten-free and dairy-free baking can still deliver a beautiful layer cake with deep chocolate flavor and a truly memorable finish.
